Address Verification Error
What does it mean: The cardholder has likely entered the incorrect billing zip code or street address. The Address Verification Settings (AVS) are set by the merchant to prevent fraud.
The cardholder should check and make sure that their billing zip code is correct prior to attempting another payment. The billing zip code is the zip address in which your bank account or credit card company sends your bill to. Once you have verified you are entering the correct zip code, you can attempt to process the transaction again.
If the problem cannot be resolved, try an alternative payment method or call the 1-800 number on the back of your card for further assistance or to confirm your billing zipcode.
